Code of Ethics


In all our work, we strive to adhere to the following Code of Ethics:

  • Honesty and Transparency: We are honest and transparent in our communication, practices and methods.Transparency implies openness, communication, and accountability;
  • Integrity:  We act in the interests of the whole – our partners, stakeholders, society and the environment at large complying with the requirements of applicable laws, regulations, and rules;
  • Adaptability:  We are able to change course rapidly if needed, to better serve the needs of the client, society, the environment as well as our mission;
  • Credibility:  We use and produce reliable quality information;
  • Advice:We give sound, uncomplicated advice and we keep it simple. We aim to ensure that clients understand everything we do, and are happy with the way we go about doing it. We cut through the jargon to provide meaningful advice that is relevant to the situation in question;
  • Equality:  We behave as equals in all relationships;
  • Self-improvement:  We constantly seek to improve our skills and systems;
  • Reliability:  We under-promise and over-deliver, meeting our commitments on-time and within organizational budget. All forms of reporting are done promptly, honouring target dates. Should circumstance arise which make it impossible to complete the deliverable by the expected date, then the recipient(s) of these deliverables are notified immediately when it becomes apparent that alternative delivery dates should be negotiated;
  • Systemic:  We seek to solve problems and meet needs at their root;
  • Service Quality:  We deliver the highest quality of service by using short, functional chains of communications to aid decision-making. Clients benefit from our fresh thinking, constructive challenge and practical understanding of the issues they face.
